The Flin Flon Bombers continue their exhibition schedule tonight when the Nipawin Haws come to town; this is the start of four straight games for the Bombers as they finish out their exhibition schedule.
The Bombers haven’t played since Friday when they traveled to OCN and defeated the Blizzard 11-2, the Blizzard have a return date this Friday acting as the last pre season game for the Northern Manitoba rivals.
The Bombers started out the exhibition season with a 4-3 loss against the Hawks last Monday night when both teams dressed all rookies. Nipawin hasn’t played since last Thursday when there were in Swan River to take on the Stampeders, winning 4-2.
Flin Flon will travel to Swan River tomorrow before returning for two games taking on La Ronge on Thursday before the OCN game.
In camp news, the team will welcome back 1993 born defenseman Tanner Clark. Clark played in 50 games last season with the club registering 26 points (4g, 22a). His best season offensively was in 2011-12 when he had 32 points (3g, 29a) and 94 penalty minutes in 57 games.
With the addition of Clark, the Bombers are sitting at ten 20 year olds; the team can only keep 8.
