Season Series:  Flin Flon leads season series 4-1.

Team Scope:

Mustangs:  The Mustangs roll into Flin Flon for the final game of the 2012-13 SJHL season looking to gain some momentum going into their first playoff since the 2010-11 season, in which they lost in the North Semi-Final.  The Mustangs edged out the La Ronge Ice Wolves in the North standings because of their head to head matchups, which had the Stangs hold a 4-0-2 record.  Melfort only beat the Bombers once this season, a 7-4 beating in Melfort at the beginning of February.

Bombers:  Flin Flon finished up their regular season looking forward to their first round matchup against the Nipawin Hawks.  The Bombers will have a few prospects in the lineup tonight with local players forward Brendan Barron (Norman Northstars, Creighton, SK) and defenseman Boyd Langan (Norman Northstars , Flin Flon, MB) and forward Carson Boehm (Beardy’s Blackhawks, Martensville, SK) all seeing action tonight.  Boehm suited up for one game this season with the Bombers.  Tonight’s game features a $10 walkup ticket price and a 50/50 that starts at $1000.
