Season Series:  Flin Flon leads season series 3-2.

Team Scope:

North Stars:  Battlefords come into Flin Flon in the midst of a two game losing streak.  The team is five points behind second place and is at .500 in their last 10 games losing two in extra time.  Flin Flon edged the stars in their last game, last Saturday night in North Battleford.

Bombers:  It’s almost been three weeks since the Flin Flon Bombers had a home game.  The last night they were the in friendly confines of the Whitney Forum they won a 5-4 shootout winner against the Humboldt Broncos and were sitting nicely in second place.  Things have changed since then.  The Nipawin Hawks have made a charge and are now tied for second place with the Bombers.  Flin Flon went 3-3 on six road games and now have five of their last seven at home.  The team holds a 3-2 season series edge against the Stars, who are sitting in fourth five points back of the second place tie.
