Bombers Whip Hounds

Captain Dylan Balaski chips in with four points as the Bombers beat up on the Hounds 7-2.

Flin Flon had six different goal scorers, and Devin Buffalo made 26 saves, as the Flin Flon Bombers continued their road trip with a 7-2 beating of the Notre Dame Hounds.

Dylan Balaski opened the scoring just before the mid way point of the first with his first of two on the night. 

The Hounds Brandon Milin would tie things up three minutes later before Brody Robinson would regain the lead before the end of the first with his eighth of the season.

Flin Flon would score two more in the second, one from Balaski, and the other from Cam Blair to take a 4-1 lead into the third.

Jason Wark, Brandt Weldon and Riley Storzuk would each score in the third to have a 7-1 lead.  Ryan Donovan scored a shorthanded marker late in the third to round out the scoring.

Balaski had a big game for the Bombers, registering two assists to go along with his two goals.  Storzuk and Robinson each chipped in with two assists along with their goals.

The team has tonight off before finishing up their road trip with games in Estevan and Weyburn.

ICE CHIPS:  Flin Flon went 2 for 7 on the power play with the Hounds scoring one goal on their six advantages.  ---  Flin Flon outshot the Hounds 36 to 28, they scored five of the seven goals against backup Michael Salmon who started in favor of starter Ty Reichenbach.  Reichenbach came in relief in the third.  ---  Cam Blair and Brandt Weldon each had an assist to go along with their goals.  In total 12 different Bombers registered points in the win.
