The Bombers trade 92 born Lacroix for 92 born Wark plus futures.

The SJHL trade deadline is just one day away, but that doesn’t mean Flin Flon Bomber Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan hasn’t started the wheeling and dealing.

On Tuesday Reagan traded 1992 born forward Kevin Lacroix to the Spruce Grove Saints of the AJHL in exchange for 1992 born forward Jason Wark and future considerations.

Wark (6’3, 200 lbs) was traded to the Saints earlier in the day from the Lloydminster Bobcats.  In 38 games with the Bobcats this season, Wark compiled 25 points (13g, 12a) and racked up 107 penalty minutes.

“Jason is big guy with good hands in tight,” said Reagan, “he’s also a guy who isn’t afraid to stand up for his teammates.”

Prior to the Bobcats, Wark played in the NAHL with the Dawson Creek Rage were he finished with 47 points (25g, 22a) and 305 penalty minutes in 106 games over two seasons before the Rage folded at the end of the 2011-12 year.
