The Flin Flon Bombers took to the road for a pair of games this past weekend, and it took two come backs to split on the road.
On Saturday they visited Melville for the second time in less than a week.
Despite being down after the first period, 1-0, three goals in the second in 38 seconds, including two from Konrad Litke, helped propel the team to a 5-2 win, their fifth in a row.
Hayden Dawes scored his first of his junior career in the three goal outburst.
Brett Penner also had a solid game in the win, registering a goal and two assists. Dylan Balaski scored his sixth of the season for the other Bomber goal.
Brandon Wildung was sharp in between the pipes making 28 saves for his fifth win of the season.
On Sunday a lackluster performance in Yorkton almost resulted in a win, but with seven seconds left in the game Yorkton would score the game winner to take a 5-4 win.
The Bombers were down 4-1 at one point in the third, but three goals in the final frame had the teams looking for overtime before a bad bounce had an empty cage for the Terriers to pop home the game winner. The second time they have beaten the Bomber in Yorkton this season.
Brett Boehm had two goals and an assist and defenseman Josh Roach had a goal and an assist in the losing cause.
Penner scored his second in as many nights for the other Bomber goal.
Next up for the Bombers is a home game against their rivals to the North, the La Ronge Ice Wolves, tomorrow night at the Whitney Forum.
