Flin Flon comes home with one win after a tough road swing to the south.

The Flin Flon Bombers were able to salvage one win to end their four games in five night road swing Saturday night in Estevan, with a 4-3 overtime win.

The road trip featured the Bombers dropping their first three of the trip, their first three losses of the season, including a 7-4 defeat against the Weyburn Red Wings on Friday.

Saturday had the team down 2-0 after the second before rookie Brett Boehm scored his ninth of the season to come within one.

Cole McCaig and Brett Penner would each add one to take the lead past the midway point of the third.

A costly penalty by Tanner Clark with two minutes left in the game would lead to a Bruins power play goal with 36 seconds left in the game.

Landon Heibert scored his second the season 33 seconds into the extra frame to give the Bombers the win and snap the three game losing streak.

Next up is a pair of games this weekend, starting Friday against the Notre Dame Hounds were the team will try to avenge a 3-0 loss during the road trip.  On Saturday the always dangerous Humboldt Broncos are in town.
